Brian has nearly 14 years of experience in wealth management as a licensed Investment Advisor Representative (FINRA Series 65). Prior to Asset Preservation, Brian served clients through one of the world’s largest registered investment advisors. A focal point of his career has been retirement planning, including the nuances of what’s needed to transition gracefully from working life to retirement, and building an investment strategy that supports those plans. He’s deeply experienced in helping investors at all stages of the wealth cycle.
Brian approaches conversations with kindness and curiosity. He is committed to finding solutions that enable his clients to maximize their wealth and quality of life. Clients’ needs always come first. With a background in wildland firefighting prior to financial services, he’s always been driven by the idea of serving his community. He empowers clients through financial education and prioritizes keeping his own knowledge and research sharp to do so effectively. He understands that he’s sitting on the same side of the table as his clients, and that he doesn’t win unless they do.
Brian moved from his hometown of Alameda, CA to Eugene, OR, where he studied Economics at the University of Oregon. He’s now rooted in Vancouver, WA with his wife, Sarah, and their Newfoundland pup, Lily. Brian and Sarah both have a deep love for animals and support various animal welfare organizations and farm sanctuaries. Outside of work, you’ll probably find them exploring one of the many mountains, forests, and beaches that the pacific northwest has to offer.
